JR Tokai Hotels Co., Ltd.

At JR Tokai Hotels, we strive to do everything we can to ensure that guests with food allergies can enjoy their meals with peace of mind. Upon request, we will make every effort to accommodate your dietary needs, including substituting menu items and modifying certain ingredients.
Please contact the respective hotels in advance for inquiries or assistance.

  1. If you have food allergies
    • Regarding the meals served at the hotel’s restaurants and banquet halls, we ask that you please understand the following points and make your own final decision based on your health condition and consultation with a medical professional.
※If you have any dietary restrictions—such as foods that should be avoided due to interactions with medications—please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

    【When dining at the restaurant】

    • Please notify us of any allergies at least two days prior to your visit. Please note that if you notify us the day before or on the day of your visit, we may be unable to accommodate your request due to ingredient procurement and safety considerations, or it may take some time to prepare your meal.
※Please note that for the buffet, we will inform you of the available dishes on the day of your visit, and you will be asked to select your meal yourself, so please let us know your choice on the day.
※Please let us know on the day of your visit at the bar or lounge.
※For room service, please let us know when you place your order on the day.

【When using the banquet hall 】

    • Our staff will ask about any food allergies during the preliminary consultation.
    • Please notify us of any food allergies for general banquets or wedding receptions at least one week prior to the event date.
Please confirm your order by noon three days prior to your visit. Please note that requests made after this deadline or on the day of your visit may be declined due to ingredient procurement and safety considerations, or may require additional time to prepare. We appreciate your understanding.
  2. Important Notes Regarding Food Allergy Accommodations at Hotel-Operated Facilities
    • The dishes offered as part of our “Food Allergy-Friendly Menu” are prepared with the eight specific ingredients subject to mandatory allergen labeling: shrimp, crab, walnuts, wheat, buckwheat, eggs, milk, and peanuts. We will do our best to accommodate other allergens to the extent of our knowledge.
Please note that additional charges may apply due to changes in the ingredients or cooking methods used in the dishes we serve.
    • For the buffet-style meals served at our restaurant, we are required to list the eight specific ingredients subject to allergen labeling requirements.
    • Allergen information is provided based on ingredient information (food labeling) from the manufacturers and other sources regarding the ingredients used.
(8 allergens subject to labeling requirements) As of April 2026
◆Allergens (Required to be Labeled)  ・・・Shrimp, crab, walnuts, wheat, buckwheat, eggs, milk, peanuts
  3. The possibility of trace amounts of food allergens contaminating dishes due to environmental factors
    • Since the “Food Allergy-Friendly Menu” is prepared in the same kitchen as other dishes containing allergens, and the same cooking utensils and dishwashing equipment are used, there is a possibility of allergens being present.
In addition, when serving buffet-style meals, the tongs and tableware used are shared among multiple dishes that may contain allergens.
Please note that there is a risk of cross-contamination (Note) when customers use a single pair of tongs to pick up multiple dishes, and that food containing allergens may come into contact with the tongs or tableware.
(Note) This refers to cases where trace amounts of allergens are inadvertently mixed into a food product even though they were not used as ingredients in its production.
    • Our “Food Allergy-Friendly Menu” does not guarantee the complete removal of allergens.
For customers who are concerned that allergens may not be completely removed, or for those with severe allergies, we may have to decline to serve you, as your safety is our top priority.
In that case, we are happy to accommodate you bringing your own food, so please let us know in advance.
